Thank you for the feedback on the game, and glad that you liked the scaling feature of the game.

Cool platform game, which was fun to play. It was hard to get the wall jump every time which made the game a little frustrating. Enjoyed the smashing of the keyboard each time you died as it made me really annoyed each time I died in the game.

Not sure if I am missing something. But the game didn't resemble the screenshot attached to the page submission. I couldn't work out what I was meant to do.  The design looks great from the screenshots so wanted to play it.

It's an epic game for a month's worth of development. It feels like it would make an excellent mobile game. Getting the controls down took a little while, but the training helped with this. The puzzles are engaging and get more challenging as you go along further. As others have mentioned, I can see this as a complete game on steam or mobile.

It's a fun game which reminds me of playing several FPS on N64. The opening scene is cool, a nice to have a 3D in the timeline.

It's a fun little game. I found it hard to work out what to do at the start of the game, but once I understood, it was fun to play—I also liked the humour in the game.

Excellent visuals and design for the game. The game has a lovely, relaxing feel to it. For feedback, it would be nice if it was a little more challenging, e.g. playing the notes in time or something. Excellent game!

Thank you for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed Fortnite kid :)

Excellent art style, and I love the cover art and page design, including the throwback to MS-DOS and Cartridges! I enjoyed playing through the story.

Excellent game! I know it is meant to be a horror game, but I found it really funny. It is a great concept and a nice art style.

I love the art style of the game, but I found it hard to move around. It was also hard to know what the object of the game was. It looks fantastic, though!

It's a well put together game! The house is fun to explore, and I like how the monsters slowly move towards you. It took me a little while to know I could interact with objects, but once I did, I had a good time trying to get to the end. I had fun playing it, and excellent cover art!

Thank you for playing the game and providing feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the visual novel style and the concept of the loop.

Thank you for your feedback on the game, and I'm glad you liked the story. I will let you know when we add anything new.

Fantastic work for a week! The game reminded me of the movie "The Ring". It was scary and fit perfectly with the horror theme of the Game Jam. Regarding feedback, I think having a bit more of a storyline would have helped. Moving around was a little challenging, but overall, the game was great!

At the beginning, I had a great time playing the game and discovering the room while interacting with the computer. However, I eventually got stuck with the computer commands and couldn't figure out what to do next after the first night's sleep. The game had a great atmosphere, and I was interested in learning more about how I ended up in the room. Great job!

I had a great time playing the game! Collecting fish and keeping them alive was a lot of fun. The gambling game was a funny addition that added to the enjoyment. The game could be quite stressful at times, especially when trying to keep the fish alive.

However, it felt like there were two separate games at times, and switching between them was challenging. I found myself playing more of the dodge game instead of the maze game because the controls in the maze game were difficult to use. Overall, I enjoyed playing the game, and it was satisfying to have a tank full of fish while they lasted.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. We intentionally aimed for a bleak and relentless style.

Epic work for a week! I enjoyed playing through the game, and it reminded me of playing on my old PS or PS2. I would have to like a few more scary things to happen to make it more of a horror game.

The music and art style of the game is lovely. The flickering light adds a lot to the game, and the game has an excellent sense of place. The only feedback I would have is I found it hard to move around the game and sometimes I got stuck in certain rooms. Overall enjoyed the experience!

Thank you for the kind words @bullfrog-777. We had a few more ideas around the choices and at one point had stats for the main character, but we had to cut quite a lot to get everything finished in time. The time goes quickly!

I fully understand the feeling of having to make cuts. We started with loads of ideas (mini-games, states, etc.) and had to cut loads of them and move toward more of a graphic novel theme in the end. The time goes so fast.

I love the old Windows art style of the game and the sounds and graphics when bad stuff happens. Got a little lost with the story.

Excellent art style, sound design and story. I enjoyed playing the game and wanted to keep going once I got to the end—also, a great concept and setting for a horror game.

Excellent game! I had good fun playing it, and it was a fun concept. I could see lots of upgrades and extras added to the game so you can build a whole Iscream empire.

Oh, I didn't know there was a second weapon. The infection clouds when the monsters die is a good game mechanic as well, as it makes it harder to move around.

I enjoyed the game. Very similar to Vampire Survivors, so I felt like I had played the game before. Great work.

I had fun playing the game, and it is a nice shooting game. One challenge I had was sometimes the gun didn't shoot, also I kept running out of ammunition.

The visuals of the game are beautiful, and I enjoyed the sound design.

(1 edit)

It's an excellent little fun game. I wanted it to be a little more scary though :)

I enjoyed the game mechanics and the idea of not looking too long at the monsters. The final sound design once you have made it through the night, was also lovely.
